Fabricated Black Aluminum Valve Covers 5.2/5.9 Magnum with Optional Fill Cap, Breather & PCV Holes, Including Fill Cap and Grommets

Fabricated parts can vary slightly from piece to piece and may require some modification to obtain optimal fit and performance. 

Fabricated Black Aluminum 10-bolt Valve Covers fit 5.2/5.9 Magnum engines.   Matching bolts are included. Sold as a pair.

When using these valve covers along with the Airgap EFI intake (#5409) and some M1 4-bbl intakes, there will be some interference between the valve cover and intake manifold that requires machining of the intake and/or valve covers. These work fine with the stock intake manifold. There may also be some interference with the alternator requiring some modification to the alternator electrical post.  Fabricated parts can vary slightly from piece to piece and may require some modification to obtain optimal fit and performance. This is a special order part.

• Black set shown with hole Option #3..  Magnum 10-bolt.
• Silver set shown with hole option #2.   Magnum 10-bolt.
• Comes with both valve covers and fastening bolts, includes 3 holes, (1) fill cap,  (1) breather grommet with 1" ID and (1) PCV grommet with 3/4" ID.

Please choose hole location option.  

Hole Location Options:

Option 1: Fill Cap hole: rear driver’s side. Breather and PCV holes: front driver and front passenger’s side.  Swap engine sides and you have: Fill cap hole: front passenger’s side; Breather and PCV holes: rear passenger and driver’s side.

Option 2: Fill Cap hole: rear passenger’s side. Breather and PCV holes: front driver and front passenger’s side.  Swap engine sides and you have: Fill cap hole: front driver’s side. Breather and PCV holes: rear driver and passenger’s side.

Option 3: Fill Cap hole: driver’s side front. Breather and PCV holes driver’s side rear and passenger’s side front.  Swap engine sides and you will have: Fill cap hole passenger’s side rear. Breather and PCV holes driver’s side rear and passenger’s side front.

Oil Fill Cap Color Options: Silver, Red, Blue, Black

Note: 

• The fill cap hole is lager than the breather and PCV holes which are both the same size.

• You can draw each scenario on paper to better visualize each arraignment.

• Options #1 and #2 are preferred for racing since upon acceleration; the oil in the head tends to move rearward leaving less oil beneath the breather and PCV holes.  If you swap engine sides this will not apply.
