The HiPoTek intake manifold vacuum tree is for use with the M1 4-bbl intake manifold, and other intake manifolds utilizing a 3/8 NPT vacuum port.

This vacuum tree is designed for excellent vacuum signal, flow, and vacuum strength.  Where pressure builds with a smaller orifice, vacuum tends to build with a larger orifice, allowing the force of vacuum to build up more quickly and completely.  So where flow and vacuum strength is needed for the PCV circuit and brake booster, for example, larger fittings are incorporated and beneficial.   

• Manifold end 3/8 NPT.  Screws right into the M1 4-bbl intake manifold.

• Power brake booster at other end uses a 3/8 NPT to 3/8 barbed fitting.
  

• Map signal (lower left hand side) 1/8 barbed fitting.  This allows for the usage of a single size hose from the map sensor to the vacuum tree,       without reducers and different size hoses spliced together.

• PCV valve (upper left hand side) 3/8 barbed fitting.  This allows for excellent flow from the PCV valve to the intake  manifold.

• Other two accessory fittings (upper and lower right hand side) 1/4 barbed fittings.
