Custom kit for modifying steel differential, rear end covers with a magnetic drain plug and threaded fill plug.

This custom kit is for use with steel differential, rear end covers. Welding is required. Once installed, this kit allows for the draining and filling of the differential fluid without the messy removal of the differential, rear end cover, cleaning the gasket debris from the cover and housing, and replacing the differential, rear end cover gasket. This will save time and money during future fluid changes. The magnetic drain plug will also be indicative of excessive wear within your differential unit by collecting metal filings. The threaded fill plug eliminates the OEM rubber fill plug that tends to leak and can be difficult to remove and install without damaging it (such as the Chrysler 8.25 and 9.25 rear ends). It also allows for a convenient inspection/fill hole for those differential, rear end covers that came with a small fill plug, or for those without one. This kit consists of the following parts:
