EAGLE "SIR" I beam connecting rods. SIR Connecting Rods are economically priced and offer an alternative to the time and expense of involved in reworking OE Connecting Rods.

Forged from 5140 steel SIR Rods offer a 50% greater strength than the GM "pink" rod.  Replaces OEM connecting rods with higher strength and corrosion resistance connecting rods.

Each SIR rod undergoes a rigid inspection process to ensure quality. The perfect choice for Pro Street, IMCA and classes that require a "Stock appearing con rod"

• NEW forged 5140 chromemoly steel rod
• APR 8740 wave Lok ™ 3/8" rod bolts (190,000 psi)
• Rods are bronze bushed use with floating piston pins and pin oilers
• Large journal 2.100" crank pins
• Both the pin end and crank end are final honed to size.
• Each forging is X Rayed, Magnafluxed and Sonic Tested to ensure quality
• Shotpeened to stress relive the metal
• Packaged in weight matched sets ( = / - 2.5 grams)
